We are presently accepting resumes for a number of Youth Worker Summer Student to assist youth with an intellectual disability or complex needs to engage with their peers in a social setting : to assist the Youth Engagement Facilitator with planning and implementation of activities and programs; to lead a small group of youths with disabilities in a variety of community, social, recreational and work activities.
This is a full- time position until August 3 1 , 202 6 . This position wor ks 30 hours per week (M onday to Thursday ) with an hourly rate of pay of $21. 43 . Please note that this position is contingent upon funding approval through the Federal Government Canada Summer Jobs program.
There is a potential for extension of employment 1-2 evenings per week following the S ummer to support Empower Simcoe's weekly Youth Program from Sept ember to June, excluding planned school closures .
Minimum requirements of this position include :
