Belcan Inc. is looking for an EHS Generalist to provide strategic planning in regards to health and safety procedures.

As an EHS Generalist, you will be :

oWriting, reviewing, updating and implementing environment, health & safety procedures, reports, and training as required by local site requirements, RTX and P&W Policy and all Federal, Provincial, and Local regulatory agencies

oCreating, updating, and managing internal Environment Health & Safety (EHS) training content and external training coordination

oInspecting, auditing, assessing facility activities related to work practices for compliance as required by local, provincial, and federal law and RTX policy

oLeading and supporting EHS safety committees with the goal of reducing injuries, incidents, and meeting company initiatives

oPartnering with the company"s Central EHS group to ensure standardization of procedures and processes across the enterprise

oCollaborating with business unit supervisors / managers and sr. leadership to achieve a strong understanding of industrial risks and work with the organization to develop and execute mitigation to eliminate such risks.

Education and experience :

oBachelor"s degree in Environment Health & Safety or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience

oStrong communication and presentation skills

oFlexibility to perform work on all shifts and provide on-site support for office and shop floor employees

oResults driven

oStrong attention to detail
