Flashing Installer

Penfolds Roofing has been providing residential, new construction, and commercial roofing services in British Columbia since 1937. We are expanding our team and are in need of a Flashing Installer to assist with our roofing projects throughout Greater Vancouver.

Responsibilities:

• Prep and install sheet metal flashing using hand and power tools
• Conduct and/or participate in job site safety meetings
• Maintain personal and team safety on job sites
• Manage and monitor budget of roofing projects
• Supervise and instruct less experienced worker

An Ideal Candidate Would Have:

• Written and spoken English
• Must be physically fit (able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs)
• Commitment to high standards for quality and excellence in all aspects of the job
• Knowledge of Safe Work Procedures
• Prior sheet metal, roofing, or construction experience considered an asset
• Knowledge of hand and power tools for the trade considered an asset
• Knowledge of different types of roof systems and fasteners considered an asset
• Must be able to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License an asset
• Completion of a Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program considered a strong asset
• Fall Protection Certification considered an asset
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 considered an asset
