Position Summary :
Reporting to the Manager, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), this position is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and compliance activities needed for the implementation of SRM and Contract Management framework. In addition, the role is responsible for acting as a general resource for internal business partners and key suppliers to ensure an understanding of SRM activities.
Key Accountabilities :
- Acts as first level focal point for internal business partners for supplier performance issues related to supplier relationships.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure goal alignment and effective communication with suppliers.
- Maintain current and develop new supplier relationships based on supplier segmentation.
- Assist with the development of supplier governance strategies that build mutually beneficial results for the GTAA and its suppliers in collaboration with the Business Units.
- Use in-depth understanding of contract management to support business units in ensuring supplier adherence with contractual terms and conditions and scope of work. Support Business units and Strategic Sourcing in the creation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of contracts as well as provide guidance to partners on contract management
- Report, monitor and improve supplier performance in collaboration with business units via governance, performance reviews, monthly scorecards and improvement plans.
- Support Business Units in assessing supplier risks and assist with the development of effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate (based on the Supplier Segmentation) and attend performance review meetings with suppliers and contract / project managers to ensure SLAs are met.
- Maintain knowledge of marketplace pricing and sourcing strategies to contribute to strategic sourcing goals and practices as well as support strategic sourcing negotiation strategies.
- Collaborate with Business units, Strategic Sourcing and Business Continuity team to ensure business continuity of critical functions provided by suppliers.
- Understand the strategies, service roadmaps and initiatives of key partners and strategic sourcing and provide assistance wherever necessary.
- Work with a variety of partners (strategic sourcing, business units, suppliers) to help gain alignment, synthesize information, and bring information together in a cohesive plan to management.
- Assist in the formulation and drafting of any policy guidance and write-up related to supplier relationship management
- Prepare, maintain records and distribute minutes of supplier relationship meetings and action items to all partners and follow-up on any action items.
- Collect and analyze pertinent data including current spend, purchasing behavior, supply market intelligence, benchmarks and supplier performance data.
- Support Associate Director and Manager, SRM and Director, Strategic Sourcing in all contract and Supplier Relationship Management initiatives.
- Supports in providing consulting, mentorship, and education on supplier governance subject matter and risk mitigation approaches throughout the supplier / contract lifecycle to business owners and other key partners.
- Maintain supplier monitoring plans / obligation calendars and other centralized supplier documentation to facilitate analysis, cross functional information sharing, and reporting across the full inventory of third-party relationships.
- Work with senior internal and external partners to acquire the necessary information and reports. Maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the business functions and corporate areas involved in supplier governance related effort.
This unionized position is an hourly wage range of $, based on a 37.5-hour work week. The successful candidate must be available to commence the duties of the position once a selection decision has been made. A practical test will be administered as a part of the competitive process.
Qualifications :
College Diploma or University Degree with a specialization in Business Management, Contract Law, Supply Management, or related fieldA minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced similar industry or public sector, and either directly or indirectly managing corporate wide large complex contracts and suppliersMinimum 1 year of procurement related experienceAble to acquire and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the positionKnowledge, Skills and Abilities :
