Intermediate knowledge of a pattern design software application such as PAD System, Gerber Accumark or other. Working knowledge of a 3D CAD software application such as Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other is an asset. Bilingual (English and French) is a must; working knowledge of Vietnamese is an asset. Product Development Specialist
We are presently seeking a Product Development Specialist with a focus on load carriage systems and personal protection equipment. Experience with such products in the military market is a definite asset. Under the supervision of the Director of Business Development, the candidate will have the following responsibilities :
Specific responsabilities
- Understand the technical requirements from the Director and other subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Produce technical sketches and various documents necessary for production;
- Create, revise or modify digital development patterns;
- Assemble prototypes and supervise the transition to large-scale production;
- Keep constant contact with international and local suppliers to ensure the transfer of technical documents and fit and construction adjustment reports;
- Follow-up on the project calendar according to set timelines;
- Upload and synchronise all relevant technical data in the corporate database.
