The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who works both independently and with a team to achieve environmental program initiatives and ensures compliance to related policies and procedures.

Job Location: London, ON Shift Type: Full time Shift Days: Monday- Friday Shift Hours: 9:00am - 4:30pm Salary : $40,000 VACANCY STATUS : This posting is for an existing vacant position Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and collect data from campus waste, recycling, and other locations in order to improve waste reduction.

Collect, analyze and report on data related to client and internal sustainability initiatives.

Coordinate annual waste audit and report on findings.

Promote recycling, composting and waste education to internal and external stakeholders.

Participate at information booths and other education and awareness events.

Support the development of a culture focused on waste diversion and a commitment to sustainability.

Other duties as reasonably required from time to time.

Knowledge and Skills Required: Environmental Science or related diploma or degree.

• 1-2 years' experience in related experience is considered an asset Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Intermediate computer and smart phone knowledge with experience using MS Office programs.

Ability to effectively analyze, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Multilingual ability considered an asset.

Valid driver’s license in Ontario.
