Safety Coordinator / Firefighter

Fire Rescue International (FRI) is recruiting an experienced Safety Coordinator / Office Administrator who is already capable of performing safety duties on Day One and wants to grow into a professional municipal firefighter and future Captain.

This is a 5-year hybrid career pathway - safe through structured training and performance.

ROLE SUMMARY :

• Full-time Safety Coordinator / Administrator from Day One.
• Enter a fully paid firefighter development pathway.
• Progress toward Fire Officer certification and Captain eligibility.

COMPENSATION :

• Year 1 : $64,000
• Year 5 : $70,000
• Full benefits & guaranteed progression.

TRAINING PROVIDED (100% PAID)

• NFPA 1001 1 & II, NFPA 1140, NFPA 1070 Awareness & Ops, NFPA 1002 Driver & Pump, EMR, Class 3Q,
• ICS 100 / 200 / 300, NEPA 1521 (HSO & ISO), NEPA 1041 / |, NEPA 1021 I / I|.

REQUIRED TO APPLY :

• OHS Certificate / Diploma OR NCSO (or enrolled) OR NFPA 1521 HSO / ISO
• WHMIS 2015&TDG
• Standard First Aid+ CPR-C
• Clean driver's abstract & criminal record
• Willing to commit long-term
