HDPE Machine Operator (BECOM Blow Molding Technician)

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled HDPE Machine Operator to work with HDPE plastics in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating blow molding or plastic manufacturing machines-specifically the BECOM machine or have strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly.

This role involves running production equipment changing molds and ensuring consistent quality of HDPE bottles throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Production

Operate BECOM or similar blow molding machinery for HDPE bottle manufacturing

Set up start and monitor machine operations throughout the shift

Perform machine adjustments to maintain optimal production performance

Troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime

Mold Changes & Setup

Safely remove install and align molds according to the production schedule

Perform machine setup and calibration for each mold change

Verify machine and tooling conditions before restarting production

Quality Control

Inspect HDPE bottles for defects consistency and proper specifications

Maintain quality standards throughout production runs

Document and report any quality deviations

Maintenance & Safety

Perform basic mechanical maintenance and cleaning of the machine

Report equipment malfunctions or required repairs

Follow all safety procedures related to machine operation plastics handling and mold-change work

General Duties

Keep the work area clean and organized

Collaborate with the production team and supervisors

Meet shift targets and production deadlines

Qualifications

Required :

Experience working with HDPE plastics or plastic manufacturing

Ability to operate blow molding or injection molding machines

Ability to run machinery change molds and manage machine setups

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to lift carry and handle molds or tooling safely

Good attention to detail and quality control

Preferred :

Experience specifically with BECOM machines

Experience in bottle or container manufacturing

Forklift certification (asset not mandatory)
