The Opportunity

RVS invites applications for a temporary, full-time (40 hrs / wk) Building Operator I Floater Position(s) to service the Airdrie, Chestermere and Cochrane Areas (based on the needs of the division - mornings or afternoons must be flexible); starting immediately and ending June 30, 2026.

Responsibilities Include

• Engages actively in janitorial duties, including cleaning of the school and the grounds ( 90% of this position is cleaning )
• Reports any defects, damages, or loss of school property to the Head Building Operator
• May coordinate cleaning duties of caretakers
• Ensures temperatures in the school building are maintained during the shift
• Checks on the proper operation of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems; reports any problems promptly to the Head Building Operator
• Security duties as assigned
• Assists the HBO in orientation and training of new employees and relief help
