Parts Specialist

$23 - $26 per hour

A Day in the life :

In the role of Parts Technical Specialist , the primary responsibility is maintaining positive relationships with service technicians, service team and manufacturers for parts identification, creating estimates, and problem solving. The Parts Technical Specialist must thrive in an extremely fast‑paced work environment with high deliverables and demonstrate the ability to think creatively and beyond traditional linear approaches when resolving complex issues. In‑person customer service for parts counter sales may also be involved. This is an active job opening for a vacancy that currently needs to be filled.

Responsibilities :

• Generates estimates for technician group.
• Provides regular, timely communication with customer to maximize conversion rate.
• Engages with technician group to determine the required parts for service orders.
• Researches part manufacturers' resources to identify commercial food equipment parts to better assist customers.
• Verifies and update's accurate part information for customer accounts.
• Liaises with service technicians and manufacturers for technical support calls.
• Listens to and understands customer needs and provides quotes.
• Issues purchase orders for material and part pick-ups from local suppliers.
• Sources parts from various sources.
