Manning Elliott LLP is seeking a talented and experienced Software Specialist (Software, Development, and Integration) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert back-end knowledge in our software stack, both on premise and in the cloud. They will focus on API and Non-API driven integrations, workflow automation, data solutions, reporting and database management, and enhancing software features using Microsoft Power Platform tools and custom created solutions. Reports to : IT Director

Responsibilities

  • Working and managing the firms software and integration of software amongst hybrid software platforms both on premise and in the cloud (such as third party applications, SaaS and Office 365 platforms)
  • Integrating different data sets to achieve the firms operational and business requirements
  • Working with managing third party vendors for integration and deployment of new software and features
  • Working on different aspects of automation, scripts and programs to further the firm and IT departments efficiency
  • Working with multiple data sets to create visualizations and reports utilizing platforms such as PowerBI
  • Maintains a service level for firm’s user base through use of ITSM systems, processes, procedures and policies
  • The ability to respond to critical emergencies when applicable
  • Writing documentation including SOW, SOP, diagrams, build documentation, KB, checklists, workflows, project documentation
  • Onsite support when scheduled at the firm’s offices across the lower mainland as needed
  • Promotes the organizations quality control standards
  • Participate in the organizations team development and performance management program
  • Actively supports and participates in firm wide initiatives

Qualifications

  • Programming and Integration Skills : Proficiency in API technologies (REST, SOAP, Open and No Code platforms) for cross-platform integrations, particularly SQL databases to cloud applications.
  • Cloud and Collaboration Tools : Skilled in managing cloud-based solutions, including third-party applications, SaaS, Azure and Office 365.
  • Development tools and Languages : Experience with .NET, Python, PHP, Java, Powershell and other relevant languages for integration and template creation. Bug tracking and development tracking tools such as Microsoft devops
  • Database Management : Skilled in SQL Server, database architecture, data migration, and multi-platform data management
  • Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, with knowledge of ITSM ticketing systems and ITIL methodologies
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible manner to both technical and non-technical team members. Capable of fostering collaboration and understanding across diverse teams to drive project success and requirements alignment.

    • What We Offer :

    The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $140,000. Individual salaries within this range will be dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications.
