Dock Worker

Dock Worker Every Canadian relies on forklift operators to get things delivered and we need your help to make sure things keep moving.

We’re looking for motivated individuals for a variety of tasks in warehouse shipping and receiving. Working for one of Canada’s largest distributors, you’ll help get goods to customers, friends, and neighbors coast to coast.

You’ll be part of a highly supportive team, have access to ambitious growth opportunities, and can start working right away in Balzac. What we offer

• Competitive salary of $21.00 / hour
• Afternoon shift with full time hours
• Temporary to permanent assignment, opportunity to be hired into a permanent position

What you bring

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete daily logs into inventory
• Report any errors
• taking items off of trucks
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Picking orders with an RF gun or with a manual pick sheet
• Putting away product with an RF gun or manually
• Breaking down or building pallets when necessary for an order

Who you are

• 2+ years of experience with counterbalance forklift / dock stocker
• Care about details, organization, and accuracy
• Are a good communicator
• Enjoy supporting others and being supported in a team
• Own safety shoes
• Complete a criminal record check, pre-employment drug & alcohol, fit for work assessment
