Job description

THE ROLE

Under the supervision of the Arena Superintendent, the Maintenance / Cleaner picks up debris and empty trash containers. Replace garbage bags. Implement and apply maintenance and cleaning schedules. Advise supervisor of any damages or need for repairs. Perform general repairs. Sweep, vacuum, wash and polish floors.

Clean glass and mirrors and dust furniture, as required.

Ensure sanitary conditions for washrooms.

Maintain a neat and orderly cleaning supply room and order supplies as approved by manager / supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

  • High school diploma AND some years experience in a related field

Experience

  • In providing cleaning services
  • In performing maintenance jobs and repairs an asset
  • Competencies, Skills and Abilities

    Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership .

    LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

    English Essential
