Identify and develop new business opportunities for heavy lift and engineered transport projects
Proactively engage with EPCs, plant owners, contractors, and industrial clients
Position the organization early in project planning to influence scope and lift strategies
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline focused on medium to large-scale projects
Support bid and proposal development in collaboration with engineering and operations teams
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client project requirements and constraints
Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations once projects are awarded
Market & Opportunity Development
Monitor market activity across refining, petrochemical, energy, infrastructure, and heavy industrial sectors
Track upcoming shutdowns, turnarounds, capital projects, and maintenance programs
Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations to develop safe, competitive, and executable solutions
Align client expectations with technical capabilities and operational capacity
Support continuous improvement of sales processes and CRM discipline
What you must have :
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project development within industrial services, heavy equipment, or construction-related sectors
Experience selling technical, project-based solutions (heavy lift, crane services, engineered transport, industrial construction, or similar)
Strong understanding of industrial markets in Southwestern Ontario
Proven ability to generate new business and develop long-term client relationships
Comfortable engaging with engineering, project, and site-level stakeholders
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required
Preferred Background
Exposure to heavy lift, crane operations, or engineered transport environments
Experience working with EPCs and major industrial end users
Technical or engineering aptitude is considered an asset
