Family Physician

Position Summary

Join our friendly primary care team and enjoy an outdoor lifestyle in Rossland, BC, a destination for skiing, biking, hiking, camping and more. We are seeking a permanent physician to join our team of 4 physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner. We are open to part-time or full-time opportunities. New physicians can choose to bill under the Longitudinal Family Physician Payment Model. Our clinic is located 15 minutes from the Regional Hospital in Trail, BC (KBRH), which offers specialist services and opportunities for hospital-based work for GPs. All physicians at our clinic have mixed practices combining clinic work with work at KBRH or with other sub-specialties including Maternity Care, Palliative Care, Sexual Assault, Mental Health, Hospitalist, Emergency Medicine and Functional Medicine. Our small clinic is situated in downtown Rossland within walking and biking distance to everything. We have 3 exam rooms and our administrative staff includes an office manager and 3 part-time MOAs. Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in a small clinic with a team of 4 physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner.
• Participate in hospital-based work at KBRH or with sub-specialties including Maternity Care, Palliative Care, Sexual Assault, Mental Health, Hospitalist, Emergency Medicine and Functional Medicine.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrative staff; use Telus CHR EMR.
• Support a balanced lifestyle and community involvement.
