Database Architect

PrecisionERP is seeking a Database Architect to work an i nitial 1-year hybrid style contract in Montreal or Saguenay, QC.

Address : Hybrid style from either Montreal or Saguenay, QC

Requirements :

• Experience assessing an organization's database assets to propose migrating scenarios
• Knowledge of different architectures from physical installation in computer rooms to virtualized environment (VMWare) or cloud services (Azure / AWS)
• Experience providing support for the development of database platform products like developing patterns, decisions trees and standards.
• Understanding of application requirements by doing due diligence on the databases, but also dependencies, to develop strategies to migrate, consolidate or decommission
• Microsoft SQL Server from 2008+ to the latest versions
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure for SQL Server
• Microsoft SQL Managed Instances
• Microsoft SQL Server on VMWare or Physical Server
• Ansible, Aria OPS, PowerShell, Splunk
