Job descriptionDiplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en génie mécanique, chimique, industriel ou expérience équivalent. 5 à 10 années d’expérience dans un rôle technique, Connaissance des équipements de procédé tel que du séchage en phase vapeur avec kérosène, filtration d’huile, dégazage, régénération et mise sous vide (un atout) Capacité à comprendre des diagrammes P&ID, des plans d’aménagement, des isométriques de tuyauterie, ainsi qu’à interpréter des schémas électriques et de contrôle Expérience en amélioration continue et en résolution de problèmes Expérience en environnement manufacturier syndiqué Bilingue français et anglais Le candidat doit déjà détenir une autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes, interpret data, and take corrective action when issues arise. Track equipment and process performance indicators and recommend corrective measures. Coordinate with production for support operations and ensure compliance with instructions (DO, JIBS). Manage inventories of products (oil, solvents, etc.) and participate in deviation approvals. Contribute to the design, testing, and upgrading of systems and recipes. Participate in creating and validating process protocols and train operators on changes. Draft and update technical documentation and work methods. Support maintenance and participate in testing and validations (FAT / SAT). Collaborate on continuous improvement projects to optimize productivity, quality, and efficiency. Ensure technical knowledge transfer and training for operators and technicians. Ensure compliance with industrial, safety, quality, and environmental standards, and participate in internal and external audits. College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. 5 to 10 years of experience in a technical role. Knowledge of process equipment such as vapor-phase drying with kerosene, oil filtration, degassing, regeneration, and vacuum systems (an asset). Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams, layout plans, piping isometrics, and electrical / control schematics. Experience in continuous improvement and problem-solving. Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. Bilingual in French and English. Candidate must already hold a valid work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
