Job description

Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Translator for a 6-month contract located in Toronto. The role is completely remote within Canada.

The main function of the Translator is to translate written or spoken materials from one language to another.

Listen to, understand, and translate spoken or written statements from one language to another.
Facilitate effective communication by converting one spoken / written language to another.
Relay concepts and ideas between languages.
Edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language.
Adapt a product or service for use in a different language and culture.

Must have Requirements -

3+ years Translation experience

Experience with translation memory software

French / English bilingual

Expert level French skills

BA in translation.

Nice-to-Have :

Experience with HTML.

Experience in translating diverse content types, such as technical, legal, or marketing materials.
