We are seeking a highly motivated Aftermarket Sales Representative located in Canada (Ontario) with the goal of growing our rotating equipment repair and upgrades business within the territory selling repair and upgrade services, primarily associated with centrifugal pumps but other rotating equipment as well.

The Sales Representative is responsible for sales planning and achieving an annual sales forecast by meeting growth targets for the territory.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop customers for increased portfolio sales by consultative selling and solution selling in an effort to meet all territory forecast and growth objectives.
  • Establish a positive personal relationship with key buying influences at target accounts.
  • Make sales presentations to customers demonstrating our service and upgrade capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain Value Based Commercial Excellence account plans for the territory.
  • Maintain an electronic quote log for all open quotes in the territory.
  • Communicate to Sales Management via a monthly report on competitor information, customer needs, market conditions, issues, successes and sales efforts.
  • Be available for customer visits to the ITT Goulds Pumps Pump Repair & Overhaul (PRO) Service Centers.

Position Requirements

  • Associated degree and 7 years related experience or combination of education & experience.
  • Previous experience selling rotating equipment repair and upgrade services.
  • Expereince or understanding of Pulp & Paper applications and processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in mechanical equipment and ability to troubshoot issues and create solutions.
  • Display high degree of independence, requires little management guidance to meet objectives.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory up to >

50% of the time.
