Job description

Do you enjoy producing HVAC plans and systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings, as well as managing HVAC projects? If so, keep reading! My client is a multinational engineering company that has been around for over 40 years with offices in Montreal, the North Shore and the South Shore, is looking for a Building Mechanics Project Engineer to join their team. Projects up to $1 billion. Possibility of teleworking or working in the office. Choice of attaché office. Flexibility and respect.

Main functions :

  • Design HVAC systems (ventilation, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, etc.);
  • Perform design calculations to ensure project compliance;
  • Manage project deadlines and budgets while coordinating subcontractors.
  • Approve and sign plans;
  • Supervise surveys, estimates and preparation of plans and specifications;
  • Determine the equipment required to carry out the projects presented with technicians
  • Participate in the preparation of bids for service.

Ideal candidate

  • BAC in mechanical engineering
  • Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Have the General Health and Safety on Construction Sites (ASP) course
  • 10 years or more of experience in building mechanics
  • Proficiency in Revit software and the Office suite
  • Be able to approve plans
  • Be able to collaborate in a team
  • Have an excellent team spirit analysis
