This position offers an exciting opportunity within an innovative, employee-oriented company!What We Offer : Flexible SchedulesExtended health benefitsDental coverageVision coverageLife InsuranceEligibility towards Group Retirement Savings Plan contributionsEmployee Appreciation EventWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Materials Specialist to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse-to-Production Material Flow : Ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials, components, and subassemblies from the warehouse to production lines to prevent downtime.Lean Inventory & Material Handling : Implement Kanban, Just-in-Time (JIT), PFEP and FIFO systems to optimize inventory levels while reducing waste and excess stock.Production Line Staging & Kitting : Oversee material staging, kitting, and replenishment to support production schedules with minimal disruption.Warehouse Coordination & Logistics : Work with warehouse teams to optimize storage layouts, material movement, and real-time tracking systems (RFID, barcode scanning).ERP / MRP System Management : Maintain accurate inventory records, material transactions, and stock levels using ERP and MES systems to ensure production demands are met.Cross-Functional Communication : Act as a liaison between warehouse, production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless material availability and resolve bottlenecks.Material Flow Optimization : Analyze and improve material handling processes, reducing waste, improving efficiency, and ensuring smooth warehouse-to-production transitions.Continuous Improvement & Lean Implementation : Lead initiatives to streamline warehouse-to-production logistics, reduce material waste, and improve efficiency through Kaizen, 5S, and process mapping.Safety & Compliance : Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of materials comply with safety regulations and ergonomic best practices.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred3-5 years of experience in warehouse-to-production material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, JIT).Experience with ERP / MRP systems, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and automated material handling solutions.Understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other manufacturing quality standards.Hands-on experience with material flow analysis, inventory tracking systems, and warehouse layout optimization.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills to work cross-functionally between warehouse and production teams.Ability to lead and train warehouse and production staff on best practices in material handling and logistics.
