About This Role
The System and Process Analyst (SPA) will work closely with various departments to obtain an understanding of their respective requirements and processes.
The SPA will improve business efficiency and productivity. He will revise and enhance processes through data analysis, research, and studies.
He will act as an important source of information related to the ERP system. The SPA knows about the general business processes.
He will run daily sanity checks to ensure that all the transactions are correct and will address them accordingly. SPA interprets results and suggests ways to change processes, tools or parts to improve efficiency, quality, and services levels.
- Support shop floor operations (transactions, system problems)
- Analyze offload, level loading, batching, production surplus and obsolescence
- Analyze data to find areas of opportunity and suggests ways to improve existing processes
- Transaction integrity, Sanity reports (Database analysis)
- Review horizontal plan load requirements (capacity) Follow the status of Projects and ensures schedule until power-off including the facilitating of weekly production status meetings for their assigned value stream(s).
- Action schedules changes
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.
- Able to write reports and present information and respond to questions from managers and peers
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications; mostly Excel and Access.
- Familiar with ERP systems, preferably ORACLE
- Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and non-technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- CPIM certification is an asset.
