As a Clerk with VCH you will :

Work as a member of an integrated team and plays a significant role in ensuring that patients have a positive experience with the designated services within a fast paced, high volume operating room booking / pre-admission environment.

• Perform scheduling of patient pre-admission appointments and clerical functions in support of the delivery of patient care, including using a variety of computerized applications such as ORMIS, PHAMIS and LastWord, and intermediate wordprocessing and spreadsheet software as well as considerable tact and diplomacy.
• Support your team by : Scheduling a variety of patient appointments.Rearranging schedules to meet changing demands / requests.Preparing and confirming patient information.Maintaining patient charts and entering data into a variety of computerized information systems.Compiling statistical information.Acting as a receptionist.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
