Temporary Music & Intervention Teacher

The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.)Temporary ElementaryTeacher at École Springfield Elementary School . This position will commence on November 19 2025 and continue until December 19 2025 with the possibility of an extension.

The initial assignment will include teaching elementary grade subjects music and intervention. Music experience is not necessary.

École Springfield Elementary School is located in the Town of Peace River and has an enrolment of approximately 320 students. Programming at the school consists of English French Immersion and French Second Language programs for Kindergarten to Grade 4 students.

Peace River is a town in northwest Alberta Canada. It is along the banks of the Peace River at its confluence with the Smoky River the Heart River and Pats Creek. Qualifications :

• BEd primary focus preferred.
• Evidence of life-long learning or continuous professional development that is reflected in classroom practice.
• Evidence of effective use of technology for communication and teaching practice.
• Effective pedagogical strategies in both numeracy and literacy in primary grades.
• Inclusion mindset and practices.
• School wide involvement.

This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division.

Annual Salary Range : $ 62 702 to $ 105 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division).
