BA Blacktop is currently seeking a team oriented, self-motivated and dedicated individual to join our Project Procurement team as a Field Surveyor .
The Field Surveyor is responsible for performing field survey tasks on various construction sites. This also includes data analysis and quantities calculations.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Implementing and following company’s safety manual and rules
- Daily use of GPS rover, base station and / or total station
- Coordinating and working with site management teams, subcontractors, and / or clients regarding layout and quantity surveys
- Reading, interpreting, and analyzing engineered construction / shop drawings
- Calculating accurate layout from digital design files and performing layout / quantity surveys
- Preparing and / or verifying accurate field data, notes, records, and documents related to surveys for construction
- Support site management teams in the correct setup and use of GPS rover, base station, and / or machine control
- Completing other related duties as assigned
