Job Description

Bonus Metal Canada Inc. is currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent receives different types of metals, performs an initial classification, and directs them to the appropriate locations.

What you’re responsible for:

• Welcome clients courteously while following our procedures and requirements.
• Assist with unloading materials.
• Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals.
• Inspect clients’ metals.
• Identify the correct type of metal for each product and verify its quality.
• Weigh and track materials accurately.
• Enter data into the RECY system.
• Operate various types of machinery (e.g., forklift).
• Prepare receiving/shipping tickets.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the premises.

Qualifications

To join our team:

• You have between one (1) and three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
• You have knowledge of metal recycling (major asset).
• You have experience operating a forklift (major asset; on-site training provided).
• You are in good physical condition;
• You are bilingual (asset).
• You demonstrate professional and safe behavior.
• You are responsible and resourceful;
• You work well in a team.
• You have excellent priority management skills.
