Duties and Responsibilities :
- Preventative and regular maintenance of food manufacturing equipment.
- Required to continue upgrade skills on an on-going basis.
- Maintain and repair production related machinery.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose Motors, Control Circuits, and Process Control (VFD & PLCs).
- Update and maintain all logs and documentation.
- Modify existing equipment to improve performance.
- Must be able to work night shift and weekends.
- Follow all GMP, Health & Safety, Food Safety & Environmental Standards.
- Have good undersigning of the ESA requirements and the electrical code.
Qualifications :
5 years minimum experience as a qualified Industrial Electrician.Experience in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.Knowledge of pumps, valves, motors and piping desired.Can distinguish colors used in electric wiring colors-coding.Certificate in Industrial Licensed Electrician 442A or Construction Maintenance (C&M) 309ATravel Required : Minimal travel required for training and cross training
