Purpose :

Chemetics Inc. (Worley Group) is a diversified technology company that provides design and engineering solutions to the chloralkaline sodium chlorate chlorine dioxide and sulphuric acid industries worldwide. It is a Company with a 60-year history in Vancouver with diverse cultures talents and highly skilled professionals. Chemetics operates a specialized alloy fabrication shop in Pickering ON.

We are currently recruiting for a Buyer. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based at our fabrication facility in Pickering ON Canada.

Responsibilities :

The position is Buyer I - Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager. Functions include purchasing as per Chemetics issued bills of material and to material specifications listed and stock items by sourcing from approved Chemetics suppliers. Purchases need to be compared to budget and any deviations need to be reported.
