Director, Building Restoration & Envelope Engineering

About the Role :

In this newly created role of Director Building Restoration & Envelope Engineering, you will lead and grow our building envelope group. You will be accountable for technical excellence, business development, team leadership, and project delivery across

existing building work. You are a highly motivated team player who thinks outside of the box and has the drive to mentor and guide project coordinators and more senior project managers. You value prioritization and while your colleagues are focusing on individual tasks, your focus is on the larger goals. Your clear communication skills allow you to delegate tasks and maintain external and internal relationships. You value the opportunity to be treated as a professional and are seeking a position to work directly with senior management to advance your career.

The ideal candidate is experienced in building science and structural restoration, with well-rounded knowledge of the envelope and structural elements of buildings including garages, balconies, roofs and waterproofing systems. The successful candidate has experience leading project teams with multiple levels of staff, as well as preparing and reviewing designs, specifications and reports.
