Responsibilities :

Responsible for managing the five main professional services pillars of a practice : people management, client management, project management, partner management and expertise center.

Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability.

Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base in conjunction with sales and engagement managers.

Typically manages multiple first line managers and / or senior level individual contributors.

Participate in the establishment of statements of work (scope, cost, assumptions, deliverables)

Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements.

May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.

Responsible for attaining quarterly consulting revenue targets, in the form of delivered billable hours, while maximising utilisation.

Responsible for the management and documentation required for the R&D and CDAE government subsidies.

Hire, onboard, and manage team of new and experience resources to fulfil practice objectives.

Provide coaching and mentoring to assist in resources’ career development including annual performance reviews

Review, approve, and communicate salary / bonus adjustments.

Responsible for the practice’s knowledge center and providing training plans for consultants.

Manage the partner relationship including subcontracting, marketing events, roadmaps, etc.

Build team’s expertise and confidence in project delivery work

Skills :

10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience.

Direct line management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred.

Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to SAS.

Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Ability to travel as needed.
