Job description

We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider : Data Engineer

  • Start : ASAP
  • Estimated length : 6 months
  • Location : Toronto
  • Hybrid role- onsite twice a week (Wednesday is anchor day)

  • Responsibilities

  • Develop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics to interpret findings, take-action, and provide meaningful business direction
  • Manage the repository of all reporting assets including and not limited to development scripts and objects, documentation, etc.
  • Adopt, implement, and effectively evolve report automation standards
  • Maintain relationships with various business partners
  • Qualifications

    MUST HAVE :

  • 8+ year in one of more of the following tools : SQL, PySpark, Tableau
  • 5+ years of Data Bricks, ADL (Azure Data Lake)
  • Extensive experience with developing analysis
  • Data engineer experience
  • End-to-end data analysis experience
  • Documentation of code product experience.
  • Experience with developing best practices and frameworks for effective dashboard and reports
  • NICE TO HAVE

  • 3+ year experience with developing insightful stories through effective visualizations.
  • ADF (Azure Data Factory) experience
  • Banking experience
  • Insurance industry experience
