A DAY IN THE LIFE

As an OutSystems Developer, you will join our IT Shared Services team. The successful applicant will be involved in a broad range of projects with responsibilities as follows :

Collaborate with other developers and business analysts

Transform requirements into solutions by following established technical standards

Support, design, and create applications for our corporate teams across the organization

Develop server side and UI components with a heavy emphasis on reusability

Architect integrations across a wide range of software solutions

Work closely with project managers to estimate effort and meet project timelines

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience developing software using OutSystems

Demonstrated understanding of OutSystems best practices

A natural excitement for technology, developing, and delivering value

Forward thinker that considers the long-term, not just what is expected now

A self-starter that brings solutions and anticipates the needs of the business

Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, REST API, and Test-Driven Development Practices

Experience working with .NET, C#, XAML, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server

The following would be considered an asset :

OutSystems certifications

Previous development experience prior to OutSystems

College Diploma or University degree in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline

Strong estimation capabilities

An emphasis on user experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
