Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Specialist to join their organization on a full time permanent basis. This will be a hybrid work setting with the exact number of on-site and remote days to be confirmed.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the implementation, configurations, and support of SAP HCM and / or SuccessFactors Employee Central and Time Tracking functional modules including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management,attendance / absence codes, set-up work schedules, vacation accruals, configuring changes due to collective agreements (unions).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to document business requirements and implement SAP solutions.
- Design, configure, develop, test, and implement SAP HCM, SuccessFactors Employee Central, SuccessFactors Time Tracking solutions using best practices and standards for SAP.
- Provide ongoing support including analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues.
- SAP Certification in HCM or SuccessFactors EC is required.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in configuring schema rules, system configurations for Collective Agreements (unions), CATS, Time Recording, Time Evaluation and ESS-MSS / Fiori Apps.
- Experience in testing SAP support packs and supporting year-end processes.
- Experience in integrations with SAP modules and other third-party applications (staff scheduling applications, insurer administered benefits systems, work management systems, ServiceNow, Accenture Clone & Test, Precisely Automate / formerly Winshuttle, etc.).
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning and / or Performance and Goals would be strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to convey concepts / solutions to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimizations within SAP and SuccessFactors HCM and Time Management / Tracking domain.
- Maintain the system and operational integrity including ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies of solutions / applications related to SAP HCM, Time Management, SuccessFactors, Fiori, and ESS-MSS.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, process flows, specifications for developers and test plans.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to confirm solution meets the business needs, conforms to specifications while ensuring program, module, and system integrity.
- Support business stakeholders during the user acceptance testing process.
- Be responsible for Support Package updates by reviewing and identifying relevant SAP notes to be applied, completing required end-to-end testing, and ensuring that the updates are accurately applied.
- Provide functional expertise for projects / systems that integrate with SAP HCM, Payroll, Time Management, SuccessFactors Employee Central and Time Tracking modules.
- Develop and deliver end-user training materials and sessions to ensure successful adoption of the new processes and systems.
- Develop and deliver knowledge transfer sessions with other functional and technical team members.
- Maintain and upgrade skills in relation to current and new technology.
- Work in a collaborative team environment with multiple stakeholders including functional specialists, ABAP developers, business users, vendors, consultants.
- Post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources Management, IT, Business or in a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of technology and business processes with the ability to integrate functional and technical views.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
