Description
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Instruct and mentor others in the safe performance of their work
- Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance and repair, in both the shop and field
- Consistency in communicating estimated delivery dates to the service operations team
- Communicate shipping options and freight estimates to the Service Operations team
- Follow up on requests from the service team and remain accountable until the transaction is complete
- Delivery of parts to various locations as determined by the service supervisors and CSM
- Participate in parts related special projects and assignments
- Participate in call quality and performance initiatives as required
Other functions may include but are not limited to :
NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT partsProcurement of non-CAT partsManaging backordered partsQualifications :
Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledgeA high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationshipsClearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environmentAbility to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customersComputer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experienceExperience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assetsIndustry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy : mining, heavy construction and technology products.Important Details :
This position is a Monday – Friday shift based out of Williams LakeCandidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreementUnion Membership : You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the Collective Agreement.Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement.
