DC Warehouse Associate

Overview

The DC Warehouse Associate coordinates sales order shipments and purchase order receipts within the ERP system. This position will work closely with the warehouse manager to coordinate picking, packing, inventory counts. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• Receives, picks, and ships frozen and dry goods
• Must be able to pick accurately and consistently
• Manually stacking product onto pallets, wrapping, and preparing product for shipment
• Develop a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control processes and procedures
• Reads labels and / or printing on product containers and associated documents
• Counts and calculates quantity of product to verify accuracy of shipment
• Must be able to work in all temperature controlled selecting environments, from frozen to ambient
• Break down product boxes
• Operates within safety procedures at all times
• Maintains a clean work environment at all times
• Comply with all applicable health and safety codes
• Forklift (Reach), Order picker, and pallet jack experience desired
• Completes any other functions that may be assigned as needed
