Full-Stack Engineer – AI Gaming Tech Startup (Hybrid)

Location: Montreal, Canada (hybrid) • Employment type: Full-time • Compensation: Competitive salary and equity.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack web applications to track, monitor, and manage AI workloads and algorithms inference in real time.


• Collaborate with researchers and product owner to translate complex operational needs into intuitive UIs and scalable backends.


• Build data visualization tools to provide insights into KPI metrics, scheduling and resource allocation.


• Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability across infrastructure.


• Participate in all aspects of software development activities including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, integration testing and bug fixing.


• Be a key technical voice in the company, helping shape product roadmap and culture.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in STEM discipline and 5+ years of professional experience.


• Significant experience in full-stack development, with expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend technologies (Python, Go, .NET or Node.js).


• Proven experience developing and delivering user-centric web applications as part of a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform.


• A strong grasp of system architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.


• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native application deployment.

Bonus Points

• Understand AI/ML workload scheduling and orchestration challenges.


• Have experience or passion for gaming, game development pipelines (e.g. Unity, Unreal), or AI/ML tools.


• Have experience with real-time data processing, visualization libraries, and observability tooling.
