Responsibilities

  • Designer who is proficient with InDesign;
  • Has experience using Acrobat Pro
  • Experience with interactive form design using InDesign and Acrobat Pro;
  • Experience or an understanding of designing for accessibility and / or remediating PDFs;
  • Can follow instructions and is a quick learner; Team player and willingness to learn
  • Communicates well with the team
  • Has access to PC and Mac platforms

this should be under ‘Bonus’) but CL is only PC base if we have to teach them CL - See my note on #4 above

Qualifications

SKILLS MUST HAVE

InDesign

Forms Design

Accessibility

Experience or an understanding of designing for accessibility and / or remediating PDFs

Nice to have

  • Has experience using CommonLook PDF to remediate accessible PDFs to pass AODA standards (WCAG 2.2 and PDF / UA level AA)
  • Has experience with simple JavaScript or other coding;
  • Can speak and write in French
  • Understands the purpose and uses Paragraph styles
