Role : Secondary Maths Specialist Teacher

Daily Rate : £160 – £210 per day

Location : Whitby

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Specialist Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and keen to make a positive impact on young people’s lives. The successful candidate will bring subject expertise, creativity, and a nurturing approach. While experience is beneficial, a proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills are equally valued.

Key responsibilities include :

• Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Supporting pupils’ progress, learning, and wellbeing in class
• Encouraging independence, engagement, and inclusion
• Building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff to raise attainment

This is a long-term placement until Christmas with the potential to become ongoing for the right person. A supportive team and professional development opportunities are available within the school.
