Responsibilities

• Organizing day to day operations and handle all request for over the road shipments (full truck load, LTL, oversized, etc)
• Taking responsibility and performing tasks related to all moves for accounts assigned to you or that you have brought on board
• Carrier relations and to negotiate rates and confirm details of each shipment.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients.
• Be able to handle several projects at the same time including track and trace
• Support with custom clearances (available after-hours / weekend on-call)
• Follow a shipment from beginning to end and ensure all paperwork is processed properly

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in 3PL or brokerage industry
• Hard worker who is reliable and enjoys getting the job done
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Organized, detail-oriented excellent follow-up skills are essential
• Ability to work in a collaborative / team environment;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• English is required, French, Punjabi, Hindi and Spanish is an asset
