Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - M2 Or E License

Aerotek is the largest private recruiting firm in North America. We are currently looking for licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, AME-M2 or AME-E for either the Toronto or Ottawa base locations

Job Responsibilities :

• Ensure maintenance activities are accomplished in accordance with the policies and procedures contained in the MCM, MPM, DPDs, aircraft and component maintenance manuals and Transport Canada requirements;
• Responsible for mentoring new Apprentices;
• Liaise with the Lead and MOC with regards to scheduled assigned overnight work packages;
• Ensure all technical documentation, such as maintenance releases, associated with defects or Work Packs is accomplished as per company standards prior to submission to Technical Records
• Responsible for supporting AOG maintenance system wide as required
• Assist the Lead in ensuring the hangar work areas; including all locations in hangar, office, as well as service vehicles and equipment, are kept clean in an effort to maintain a safe work environment
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements :

• AME-E or AME-M2 Licensed
• Minimum 3+ years experience in related field
• Must have clean Driver's Abstract
• Full 'G' Driver's License
• Canadian Passport

Shift :

Rotational Shift (5-5-4)

2 weeks : 7 : 00am - 7 : 00pm

2 weeks : 7 : 00pm - 7 : 00am

Compensation Details :

• $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
• Signing bonus offered : $20,000+
• Medical & Dental Benefits
• RRSP / Pension
