Job Title : Insurance Intake Coordinator
Location : Winnipeg, MB
Pay Range : $17.5 to $19.75 based on experience
What's the Job?
Follow up with Plan Sponsors and Plan Members to obtain duly completed documentation and ensure forms are fully completed.
Respond to any questions regarding the claims process and ensure accurate setup of claims in the system.
Review system, claim documents, and contracts to confirm eligibility requirements are met.
Communicate via phone calls and emails to verify discrepancies and gather missing or unclear information.
Adjudicate and manage Quick Pay claims, transferring others to the Disability Case Manager as necessary.
What's Needed?
Minimum of one year within a customer service environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English are considered an asset.
Ability to understand complex instructions and basic contractual language.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Strong typing and data entry skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
