Job description

What you’ll do :

  • Lead the assessment of new project feasibility through comprehensive market research and detailed site selection analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of subject matter experts to conceptualize, analyze, and advance project plans, deliver data-driven and actionable recommendations to leadership, and ensure a smooth transition of projects from development to detailed design and construction by coordinating with key stakeholders, maintaining accountability for the quality, service levels, and timelines of all real estate and project development activities.
  • Lead the real estate transactions on behalf of FCL and the CRS to negotiate purchase or leases agreements.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of potential benefits of proposed property uses, incorporating market trends, zoning regulations, and environmental impact assessments and partner with expert teams to conceptualize project vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships and cultivating trust with Local Co-ops and FCL departments.
  • Approximate travel of 25% annual required

Who you’ll work with :

You will work closely with external consulting experts, FCL leaders, and local Co-op leaders. You will report into the Senior Manager, Real Estate & Development on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and forward thinking.

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Real Estate, Development or Project Management and :

  • Have 5+ years of experience in project management and / or real estate acquisitions, dispositions or leasing.
  • Have a degree in Business / Commerce, Geography, Real Estate or Urban Planning(a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have a Project Management Professional Designation would be considered an asset.
