Temporary Parks Labourer III (Summer)
The City of Martensville has six (6) to nine (9) openings for temporary full-time PARKS LABOURER III's (SUMMER) .
The work term will be May 5 to August 29, 2025 .
SCHEDULE :
- Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
- Earned Days Off (EDOs) scheduled every third Friday.
JOB DUTIES :
Assist with a variety of tasks such as seeding, watering, weeding, line trimming, hoeing, picking up debris.Assist with parks, sport fields and playground maintenance and cleaning.Use maintenance hand tools and equipment for upkeep of parks, sport fields, facilities.Assist with pruning of shrubs and other vegetation to ensure proper growth and appearance.Assist with the maintenance of parks, playgrounds, and greenspaces, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal.Assist with maintaining sports fields, leisure facilities, and other public areas.Safely operate hand-held and small powered equipment.Maintain equipment in good working order, following safety protocols.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.REQUIREMENTS :
