Job descriptionWork in a gaming segment that is actually GROWING post COVID 20%+ YoY Equity and bonuses that are grown and funded by the company’s continued growth Business that’s cashflow positive and profitable = more stability than greater gaming’s mass layoffs Round out your experience / resume if you’ve primarily worked in indie, AAA or other mobile with UGC gaming Challenge yourself to recruit from community networks like Discord, Twitter, Slack, Reddit, etc. versus only traditional LinkedIn Remote-first, flexible, and a culture that’s transparent and fun Manage full-cycle recruiting (sourcing to interviewing to offer negotiations) while maintaining excellent candidate experiences Elevate internal recruitment processes (tech stack, interview processes, interview training, etc.) Leverage outbound recruitment strategies to identify and connect with passive candidates Serve as an advisor and partner to hiring managers in order to consistently plan ahead for and execute on internal hiring needs Leverage market data and employment trends to improve interviewing and hiring practices Attract great talent by defining and executing on their recruitment marketing strategies (i.e. writing job descriptions, using their social media channels to market jobs, etc.) Provide recruitment reports to team managers as needed You have 5+ years of recruitment experience You have a real interest in gaming industry / videogames You were successful as the sole recruiter at a startup company You’re comfortable leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools for sourcing hands-on You have recruited in environments where you rely on outbound efforts more than inbound applications You’re able to proactively identify areas for improvement within recruitment processes, operations, tech stacks, etc. You’re a strong writer with the ability to write job descriptions and recruitment marketing content Experience recruiting internationally (primarily in LATAM and the APAC) Knowledge of cross-functional teams within a gaming studio - and the skills required for each of those teams (Production, Development, Design, QA, etc.) Interest or experience in Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, or another UGC gaming platform While experience with the following tech stack is NOT expected or necessary for candidates, please see below Voldex’s tech stack in case you are interested : LinkedIn Recruiter Discord Twitter Gaming community groups Remote - anywhere but USA if individual is able to work EST / PST hours Travel - 2 to 3x / year (onboarding, RDC + possible team meet-ups) Time Zone - must be willing to work EST / PST hours Ideal Hiring Regions : Canada, UK, LATAM Voldex Acquires Brookhaven, most visited game on Roblox Driving Empire & Nascar : Brand Partnership Voldex & NFL : Brand Partnership Our partners at Andreessen Horowitz share why they've invested in Voldex
