Dispatchers coordinate emergency response efforts by communicating with emergency personnel and relaying vital information during crises.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Dispatch emergency services to appropriate locations.
  • Maintain communication with first responders during incidents.
  • Document call details and response times accurately.
  • Monitor the status of emergency units in the field.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further training in emergency dispatching preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in highpressure environments.
  • Knowledge of emergency protocols and local geography.
