We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Staff Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities :
- Event Coordination : Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, and special events.
- Team Leadership : Manage and motivate a team of event staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Client Interaction : Serve as the point of contact for clients during events, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- On-Site Management : Oversee event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and day-of coordination, ensuring events run smoothly and on time.
- In-Person Meetings : Participate in pre-event meetings with clients and vendors to review event details and provide feedback.
- Travel : Participate in on-location event management, including travel to various event sites, both local and nationwide, depending on event requirements.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the event planning and production teams to ensure a seamless event experience for clients and attendees.
- Problem-Solving : Address any issues or challenges that arise during the planning and execution of events, demonstrating flexibility and quick decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement : Actively contribute to the development and improvement of event procedures and processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Experience : 2+ years of experience in event coordination or a related field.Team Management : Previous experience managing or leading teams, preferably in an event or hospitality setting.Organization : Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.Flexibility : Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and travel as required for events.Problem-Solving : Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations.Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management software a plus.Perks & Benefits :
