About the opportunity :

In this role, you will operate and conduct minor servicing on heavy-duty trucks and related equipment, including right-hand drive automated garbage collection vehicles. When not driving the automated garbage truck, your additional responsibilities will include garbage and litter cleanup, cleaning garbage carts, and performing repairs and deliveries.

About your background :

You have completed Grade 12 and possess a valid full-privilege Class 3 BC driver's license with air endorsement (or an equivalent from another province). Furthermore, your driver's abstract must reflect a safe driving record. You also have at least one year of experience as a truck driver operating on public roadways, along with training in the operation of heavy-duty trucks. Additionally, you have a solid understanding of the methods and procedures for collecting, transporting, and unloading solid waste. Ideally, you are qualified to operate tandem axle, right-hand drive automated garbage trucks; however, if you are an experienced truck driver, we will provide the necessary training.
