Technical Project Manager (ID#4870)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent facilities-related IT infrastructure and technical planning projects at different sites.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of the IT infrastructure projects, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as identified in the project plan.
• Work with the client and their Project Managers during project initiation.
• Develop and define the technical services scope of work and the technical services budget of equipment / services required during the planning phase, and when required, participate in site reviews to assess potential technical services costs associated in specific site selection, changes and installation.
• Work with PMs, their clients, project Architects and related Consultants from project conceptual through to completion of Feasibility Studies and / or Business cases to completion of all planning requirements prior to implementation.
• Responsible for tracking / managing the project deliverables, schedule, financials, and quality.
• Management of project resources, including network infrastructure, data storage, server / virtualization, and database services resources, as required, based on the scope of the assigned projects.
• Establish detailed project plans, schedules and action plans to produce project deliverables.
• Execute project plans according to the established project management methodology, to ensure the successful and coordinated completion of project components.
• Track project progress according to the project plan, and reports on the status of the projects and any key issues that are encountered.
• Consult with stakeholders as needed and ensures readiness for project implementation.
• Prepare project change requests for any changes in scope, schedule, and budget.
• Review and approve the project IT Infrastructure deliverables and artifacts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Develop / distribute regular project status reports and lead / attend regular client project status meetings.
• Lead the development process for IT infrastructure project proposals of varying degrees of complexity, costs and impact, on behalf of various organizations, working internally within their own team and with other Technology Services groups to conclude the project proposal process.
• Utilize professional expertise in proposal management, development, solving, estimating, tracking and reporting, client engagement, and stakeholder relationship development and management.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and other Technology Services resources to determine the technology feasibility, constraints and options / requirements.
• Translate technical solution(s) / specifications into clearly articulated and easily understood language for proposals.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships related to the proposal development / approval process.
• Review and discuss all components of the proposal with the client(s) and confirms requirements.

The hourly rate range for this position is $70 - $95, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
