Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Vancouver, BC. This individual will further the client's massive growth by acquiring new partnerships with Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption and market penetration in mid and large sized software companies.

This person will be working full-time, on-site at the client's office in downtown Vancouver.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Drive revenue and market share by acquiring new Partner relationships, leading the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Strategically identify, target, and successfully onboard new potential ISV partners.
  • Schedule and conduct sales presentations and product demos tailored to the specific needs of potential partners.
  • Implement daily and weekly outreach programs, including cold calling and email campaigns.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to build relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Work with the Lead Generation, Marketing, and Operations teams to develop materials and strategies that support business development efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new partners.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with newly onboarded partners to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
  • Liaise with the Product team to ensure product offerings meet the evolving needs of partners and their clients.

Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in payments software and / or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • Subject matter expertise in payments and ISV platforms.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets.
  • Strong networking skills and a vast industry contact base.
  • Proficiency in Hubspot CRM and excellent analytical skills.
  • Outstanding business and written communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Compensation :

  • Base salary : $90,000-120,000
  • OTE : $300,000
