Company Description
A Toronto-based print manufacturer is seeking a print projects coordinator to join their client support team.
Compensation
A comprehensive compensation package is on offer, consisting of a base salary of $60,000 to $70,000 (commensurate upon experience), plus a benefits package.
Position Description
The role requires a strong foundation in prepress processes, excellent project coordination skills, and a customer service mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of print jobs from client intake through to production and delivery.
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients, sales, prepress, and production teams
- Coordinate all aspects of print production from job initiation through final delivery
- Track project timelines, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Review and prepare client files for print (preflight, file corrections, output setup)
- Ensure print jobs meet technical requirements (bleed, resolution, colour accuracy, etc.)
- Maintain organized documentation for each project, including specs, proofs, and revisions
- Troubleshoot issues proactively and provide quick, client-focused solutions
Experience
- 3+ years working in client solutions environment
- 3+ years of experience in a print production environment, preferably in a coordination or prepress role
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Prepress Software (Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator) workflow, file setup, and processes
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
- Experience with digital, offset, and large format printing
